Birthday Cards using Basic Grey Delta Stamp Set

I dry embossed the cards using the Sizzix Texture Boutique and then sanded the ones where I wanted the design to be more prominent with the sanding block from the Making Memories Distressing Kit. (NICE THING ABOUT DCWV Cards--they have white inside, so even though the cardstock is colored if you sand it, it has a white core! Also makes it much easier to write a greeting on the inside!) I chose my greeting stamp from the Delta Stamp Set by BG and stamped it on the card. I decided if I wanted secondary stamped images (like the birds, cupcake) from Delta Stamp Set by BG and then stamped them in multiple colors using the Cat's Eyes Chalk Ink Pads and TT Hybrid Ink to carefully place the different colors onto the stamps. Then I choose to highlight some of the embossing and stamped images by coloring them in with Gelly Glaze Pens and Soufflé Pens by Sakura.
